The founder, Rodney Borde-Kuofie, turned his passion for music and sports into his business. Starting out in school bands and orchestras to producing records, to competing in multiple sports at County and to national University games level. Rubikon was formed after qualifying and working as a solicitor at London Law firm, B.M Birnberg & Co.

Having already embarked on a career as a West End DJ whilst an undergraduate in London, RBK started managing chart-topping artists whilst simultaneously qualifying as a solicitor in 1994. It was this hands-on experience that inspired the founding of Rubikon, a business aimed at providing multi-tier services to clients with diverse professional needs.

In 2010, the founder was appointed Managing Director of VoxAfrica Plc, a global media company broadcasting to over 60 million households on Sky, DSTV, Startimes, Canal and Orange with offices in London, Paris, Brussels, Douala, Accra and Lagos. During this period, he created & developed ground-breaking entertainment programmes such as “Live in Battersea” & “American Confidential” featuring stars such as Davido, WizKid, P-Squared, Fally Ipuba, Wande Coal and Tiwa Savage, performing for the first time on TV in the UK and USA.

The founder returned full time to Rubikon in 2015 and reflects, “it is not only our expertise in dotting i’s and crossing t’s in contracts but also, our first-hand practical industry experience that helps us in achieving our client’s goals.”
